I was just wondering about my "status" with Jed earlier and even talked to someone about it, and suddenly, I get this horoscope from my email. True, I don't know how to handle the "degree of closeness" that we now have...

Jed is a special person from the past. He was my boyfriend for the longest time (well, 2 years is a long period for me already considering the type of relationships that I had). I was 20, he was 23...and we were so much in love.Ü Also, he was the one that turned me into a woman, if you get what I mean. He was my "first time". I guess the most important experience with him that I can remember is that, he was the guy I had "marriage talks" with. We spent a lot of time exchanging ideas as to what motif we're going to have, who the flower girls will be, the ninongs and ninangs, where it's going to be held...These kinds of stuff. And it was fun and reassuring to know that I am actually talking about marriage and weddings with ME as the bride-to-be.Ü Until of course, we had to part ways, and he married someone else.

Now their separated after almost 3 years. And we're back to seeing each other again. We've been having dinner at his place, watching dvds, malling...And it just makes me wonder, are things going to be complicated for us again if I continue seeing him, or is it possible for us to remain good friends?

Based on my horoscope, I shouldn't worry much about it. So be it. I'll just take things one at a time, and enjoy moments with him. Who knows, maybe we are really bound to be just friends and I'm the only one thinking ahead and making things complicated.

I just read this sentence from my good friend Odie's status in YM, and I can't help but smile just thinking how many times I've been in such a situation (lalo na when conducting interviews):

PARA MAGKITA LANG...

I've probably seen all movies there is to see...para lang magkita kami. Nothing much we can do if I leave the office at 6pm. Sometimes, iniisip ko na nga lang gumawa ng something naughty...ewan kung bakit di natutuloy...Masyado kaming nahihiya to tell him what I want...And sometimes if I do, parang hindi nya feel. Parang he'd rather watch a lousy film. Bakit daw: kasi mahahalata sha pag mukha shang bagong gising. Susundo kasi sha ng 10pm. Haay...I know, my friends who are reading this are probably reacting na naman, cursing me to death! As for me, I can't help but wonder if there are other reason why he refuses...Could it be that he has found somebody new to spend that intimate moment with? Wala naman raw. Did I do or say something wrong the last time? Wala rin naman raw. Oh well. hayaan na lang sha. At least I still get to spend time with him. Mas madalas pa nga ngayon coz he doesn't have work. We just eat dinner and watch pathetic movies such as "House of Wax"...para magkita lang...

FIRST REAL FIGHT.

Last friday, we had our first real fight. I woke up at 6 in the morning, did my usual morning rituals, and received a call that changed the aura of my day.

It was an issue with regard to being demanding and selective amnesia.

Being demanding..."You are half way demanding!" Whatever that means...and it goes on and on..."I'm sorry if I can't give you all the time and attention that you need...Maybe you are better off with Jed since lagi mo siyang kasama and it seems that he can ALWAYS be there for you unlike me...Maybe you're making up reasons to ditch me para magkasama na kayo...". Pathetic. Passing the ball kind of shit.

Selective amnesia..."You are making up stories that I intentionally forget to text you or call you..Hindi lang ikaw ang nagrereklamo about that [malamang. kasi dalawa kami]. Isn't that proof enough that I am not doing that INTENTIONALLY???" God.

After hearing all this for an hour, all I can do was say that it's ok and fine, forgive him. After all, I am in no position to demand and freak out everytime these demands don't get prioritized.

And so, I shall just wait for him to look for me, text me, call me.

Which was not a bad idea after all...He came calling and texting the following day, as if nothing happened. But when I reacted differently, trying hard na kunyari it doesn't really matter if he calls or not, he apologized for his behavior. Sana nga totoo that I do matter to him kahit konti.

CHINA!

Dazl and I had to go to Shanghai,China to meet Angie, our boss. I was there by Sunday night, and started training with Angie at Xing Pu Monday morning. Dazl had to finish a lot of deadlines here in Manila, so she just followed Tuesday evening.

How's the weather there? Ang lamig sobra! As in umuusok ang bibig ko. Someone told us that the weather would be the same as the weather here in Manila...BUT NO. Kakaibang lamig ang sumalubong sa kin sa airport, and that was their NORMAL weather. Next time talaga I'll do my own research na.

Shanghai was interesting, if only we had the chance to really tour the place. The only things that I was able to do, that's not business related, was to eat dinner at Nanjing Road (the famous walking street for tourists), and bargain with the Chinese vendors at the market. I was able to do a little shopping...little meaning les than 2 hours. Imagine being in a market that's 5 times bigger than greenhills, and not be able to enjoy it..Sayang talaga.

Anyway, at least we were able to prepare our center, operations-wise. We had a lot of questions and requests that are little by little being addressed by Angie.Ü
