I'm in Cebu right now. For exactly 5 days already. I went to this beach last Sunday. I forgot the name of the island that was 45 minutes from Mactan (it was suppose to be just 30 mins if not for the horrible waves). The beach was GREAT. By accident, we landed on this part of the island that was suppose to be a private resort. It costs $200 a nyt, this is a room for two by the way, and was set-up in such a way that it looks as though there are little islands linked together. Basta, MAGANDA. It was fun, although near death experience ang boat ride.=)
What else...I've been spending my time here while waiting for headhunters to reply. Yes, I don't have a job anymore. Bum. Unemployed. I've been spending time with my eTel Cebu friends...malling, dining. It gets boring....but then again, that's the only thing I can do here in the city since beaches are 2 hours away. And, there's nobody to go with. They are all busy working.=(
I'll be going home soon, after Chloe's graduation on Saturday. I miss Manila...Heavy traffic and all.

Someone's been treatin' my cel number as a "give-away"...On the same day, with intervals of 30 minutes each, there were 3 messages from people I don't know, saying exactly the same thing: a friend gave me your number. BULLSHIT. The moment I find out who the hell this sick "friend" is, he or she will be deleted from my memory bank.

By the way, to add more ka-hassle-lan to this, this is my first day of bumhood. Yup. No job. Again. Also, I don't know how I'll go to Eastwood later to "end it all" with eTel.

FRUSTRATED

I'm writing coz im frustrated. Big time. Frustrated with how things are going for me this year. I'm not enjoying my job since a lot of us appear to be floating in this company. There were 100 employees terminated, and 399 others who have the same status as I am. On the other hand, I got this email from an HR Director who might have forgotten already who on Earth I was in my previous company. She's telling me that I can definitely reapply, BUT, as an AGENT. Fuck that! I've been in this industry forever, and all I get from her is that I CAN FREAKIN' START FROM SCRATCH??? Why the hell are others in their positions as Lead QAs all of a sudden? Or, why are Operations Managers hired from outside??? If that is the only thing that they can offer me, which is really an insult to my credentials by the way, forget it! I believe there are a lot of other companies there who would see my potentials as a leader and would not demote me gravely. Punyeta!!!!
