Last September 9-11, 2 gays and myself went to Galera. Yes, I am the only female, biologically. Why Galera? It's because the freakin' Waterfront Hotel in davao did not confirm to our reservation. hence, we do have a flight, but nowhere to stay. I was planning on going to Cebu, but my gayfriends refuse to let me since we had our VLs planned to spent together.
Since we got there on a Thursday, there wasn't much to see. The shore was clear of boats, and there was nobody there...except of course the locals of Mindoro and a few relaxing-by-the-beach workaholics probably.
that same evening, I met this German guy nameg Mark (thanks to Danny), and we talked for hours. Unfortunately, that's it for us. We talked about almost anything under the sun..from books to stars, Europe, Asia, dogs, "tumbling", martial arts, math, cocktail drinks, culture, etc.
The following day, we had lunch together with the Germans as well, and spent the entire afternoon sleeping. At night, had dinner and had a few drinks with Mark, then talked for hours again. Of course there were more people this time.
Come Saturday, we all decided to go home already so that we could still rest before we work Sunday night.
The vacation wasn't much, especially when all I could think of during my VL was how much pending work is awaiting me.
Haay. I don't think I could really rest, but the break was definitely something.=)
