AUGUST.
It's been a month since the day I last wrote here. Actually, it took me the entire July to finish the last entry. Too much work, so little time...
So, my August? A lot of interesting things happened: I had my team building at Baguio, found someone I was fascinated with who isn't fascinated that much in return, got my pair of glasses, met up with my undying FuBu again, met up with old friends, and, lost interest in what I'm doing.
All of these in a month.
Baguio: It was FUN! If the "internal issues" were not brought about, I'd say that the team building of two out of five teams that I handle was a blast! We had so much fun at John Hay, toured the entire city, spent an entire afternoon at Ukay, and of course, got to know each other better through unexpected activities and uncalled for misunderstandings. I don't really believe in the power of planned activities that much. I strongly agree that it is in real life scenarios that we see the true characteristics of every individual. I saw how some of my agents are obsessive-compulsive like me, others are makalat by nature, some are born to be followers while others will be good leaders, a few do not really talk their hearts out, while some just can't stop talking. Hence, the trip was "colorful" in its own way.=)
Fascination: For the nth time, I fell for someone's trap. Yes, I was "fascinated" with his personality and charm, but it all ends there. What's gonna happen. NOTHING. Why? Because he is equally fascinated......with someone else. As always. End of story.
Glasses: I have a new look, and that is my new pair of glasses. Corrective ones. For my "astigmatism" says the "doctor", unless she just wants to earn from me. So, I have to wear this damn expensive glasses for 3 months, and go back there to check if my "astigmatism" was cured, or if it got worse. If I'm working for the clinic, I'd say option 2. =)
FuBu: He is undying, and I still can't resist him!
Old Friends: Not literally though, but those that I've come to love and had been my support system for the longest time. We had coffee, talked forever, and planned to meet again. =)
Interest: My work has turned into something that I do for a living. Which is bad. The passion isn't there, and was never there to begin with. And I don't think I'd come to the point of loving my job. I've been asking for motivation from my superiors, but to no avail. It's either I refuse to get motivated, or they're not giving me the right motivation at all. Oh well, I'll just motivate myself: I work because I want to travel and I need the money for that kind of leisure.
So there. That was my August 2004.
Til next month!
